A fantastic opportunity for us at Clean My when one of the luxury homes we look after on the Fylde Coast required some Roof Cleaning attention.
As we clean the windows at this beautiful property every 4 weeks, when the owner asked us for a roof cleaning quote it was easy to quote for as we were already really familiar with the property, its quirks and the access we would be working with around the property.
Once our quote was submitted and accepted we set about ordering the specialised chemical that we use for soft washing the surface. We also required a mobile scaffolding tower due to the size of this property and this was provided by our good friends at Smiths Equipment Hire.
A 3-man job over 2 days did the trick to get this job completed in a timely manner. We split our squad into 2 jobs as we got cracking. 1 started to scrape the tiles on the lower garage and swimming pool roofs whilst the other 2 got to work on building the mobile tower safely and securely. All gutters were cleaned around the property to using our sky vac gutter cleaning vacuum. A chemical mix was then mixed which allowed us to safely treat the roof from the ground or off the scaffolding tower. Once all stages were complete and equipment packed away neatly into the vans, we finished off the project with a window clean of all elevations of the property. This really finished the job off to a really high standard.
Our customer was advised that once the chemical is applied it takes up to 3 months to cure and to start to see changes to the colour of the roof. This chemical is ultimately like putting a blanket over the whole roof to suffocate the remaining spots of algi and moss and in turn gets to work on changing the colour of the tiles as they were when first installed.
We really enjoyed this project and our regular customer was delighted with the way their roof turned out. We are currently quoting for this property again for 2023 as a maintenance re chemical to ensure the roof on this amazing Fylde Coast property looks its best all year round.
